![]() We think the major benefit is that CleanMyMac X is an all round maintenance tool for Mac. Apple notarized our app as "not containing any malicious components" which once again proves we are a legit software. We never scare people with "Your Mac is infected" ads. Many people fall for such fraud apps and have a terrible experience that has nothing to do with CleanMyMac X. They are called SpeedMy.BoostMyMac or something. The problem is there are many apps that cannibalize on CleanMyMac X's name. I’m glad this software works for you, just know every machine I come across will have the offending software removed and my clients will thank me for the help with taking out the trash. You've not really gone into any detail as to why you think it's trash, but I've always suspected that things like removing localisations from the OS/apps, slimming universal binaries, etc. ![]() I've been using CMM for years for limited, specific tasks, and it has always done a good job with those things. Never used mackeeper, but their adverts popping up in undesirable places suggests they are trash.
